On The Record Productions provide industry standard and affordable recording, mixing and mastering services for a wide range of projects, and we are able tailor our services to meet your artistic and budgeting requirements.
Our main studio is run from Tilehouse Studios based in Denham. Originally built for Mike Oldfield in 1981, the studio boasts a wide range of both vintage analogue and digital equipment, which offers outstanding analogue sound with the flexibility of digital systems.
The control room is centred around a fully refurbished 1970’s Studer 189 mixing console, Pro tools HD with convertors from Apogee and Antelope Audio, and one of the greatest tape machines ever made – the Studer A800, 16 track, 2 inch.
Monitoring is provided by Neumann and Yamaha and we have an extensive selection of outboard and microphones.
Our facilities have multiple live rooms including vocal and amp isolation booths centred around our spacious main live room. The studio was designed by Eddie Veale to make a great sounding studio that sonically reproduces accurate detail, while providing a comfortable and productive work space.
We have an impressive array of guitars, amps, pianos, drums and other instruments, and we can source other equipment upon request. We also have a great network of some of the best session musicians in the country, who can help transform your ideas into amazing sounding records.
